Built for your business
Landscaping
A landscaping business may handle a new installation, a repeat visit and a fresh enquiry on the same day. We can build a public website or private working tool that reflects those different kinds of work, rather than forcing every job into one generic record.
Request a quoteCommon problems in landscaping operations
An enquiry about a garden project needs different information from a request for regular maintenance. If both arrive as an unstructured message, someone has to collect the missing details before an estimate can begin. Photographs, site notes and customer preferences may then travel through separate conversations. Discovery looks at what you actually need to record, so the first contact can support the next step without becoming a lengthy questionnaire.
After a job is agreed, the crew needs the right instructions and the office needs to know what was completed or changed. Repeated visits introduce another question: which notes belong to the property and which belong to a particular visit? If that distinction is unclear, past information can be mistaken for current instructions. A custom tool can be scoped around those record types, while leaving established scheduling or accounting tools in place where they still work for you.
Website, portal and app options for landscapers
Your public website can distinguish installation work from ongoing maintenance and explain the services you offer in ordinary language. It can show photographs you own or have permission to share, make contact details easy to find and collect relevant enquiry information. Service areas come from you, not an assumed map. The content should help a visitor understand your work without invented project results, testimonials or promises about how quickly you can attend.
A client portal can give customers a place to revisit agreed updates or documents. An internal app can organize leads, estimates, crews, jobs and invoices where those functions fit your process. We discuss how information is entered on a phone and what the office needs to review later. Recurring work, schedule changes, route planning or outside connections each need their own scope discussion; they are not automatically included because the project is for a landscaping business.
How we discover, design, build and support the work
Discovery uses examples of your different job types. We ask what happens after an enquiry, who prepares an estimate and how instructions reach the crew. Once the requirements and quote are agreed, design arranges the public pages and any working screens around those handoffs. You review the proposed direction before the build, using language and tasks familiar to your business.
During the build, you try a preview and check that the agreed records make sense for both one-off and repeat work. Before launch, we review the phone layout, enquiry journey and any private access included in scope. The handover provides your code, account guide and walkthrough. Full ownership transfers after final payment. The first 30 days of support cover fixes to work as built and small text or photo changes. Extra workflows and larger changes are quoted separately; continued care is optional.
Frequently asked questions
Can the site explain installation and maintenance separately?
Yes. We can arrange the pages and enquiry questions around the services you actually offer. Your quote defines the page list, and you provide accurate service details and approved photographs.
Can an app distinguish repeat visits from one-off projects?
We can scope separate records for properties, projects and visits if that matches your process. Discovery establishes which details carry forward and which need to be recorded for each piece of work.
Will the tools be usable by a crew on a phone?
Mobile-friendly design is part of the project. We discuss the tasks your crew needs and review those agreed screens in the preview. Offline use or other special requirements must be scoped separately.
What is the Landscaping product link showing?
The Flip Ledger Landscaping is software we built and run ourselves. You can explore it as an example of relevant business workflows; your custom project includes only the functions agreed in your quote.
