Built for your business
Roofing
Roofing work moves between the office, the customer and the job site. Your website should make the first enquiry clear, while any private tools should keep the details of the agreed work together. We start with the part of that process you need to improve.
Request a quoteCommon problems for a roofing business
A request may arrive by telephone with only a name and address. Inspection photographs may stay on a phone while measurements, estimate notes and customer messages are kept elsewhere. Before anyone can prepare the next step, those details have to be brought together. The problem is not necessarily a lack of software; it may be that the information collected at each stage does not match what the next person needs.
Once work is agreed, the office and crew need a consistent view of the job. A change discussed with a customer should not disappear into a separate message thread. Expenses also need enough context to be connected to the right work. We ask how you currently handle estimates, contracts, job updates and invoices so the new scope addresses an actual gap, rather than adding another form to an already busy day.
What a website, customer portal or roofing app can do
A public website can explain the roofing services you actually offer and, where relevant, separate gutters, siding and capping into clear service information. An enquiry form can collect the initial details you need without asking a customer to diagnose the work. You supply the service area and any approved project photographs. We do not invent certifications, emergency availability, warranties or customer testimonials to fill a page.
A customer portal can hold agreed job updates and documents in a signed-in view. An internal app can connect an enquiry to an estimate, a job and its invoices or expenses. The right scope depends on who enters information and where they work. We discuss phone use at the job site, office tasks and access rules during discovery. Payment services, document signing and other connections are scoped separately rather than silently added to the project.
From discovery to launch and support
In discovery, walk us through a roofing enquiry from the first call to completion. We identify the records and handoffs you want to improve and send a quote before starting. Design focuses on the customer journey for the website and the working sequence for any private tools. You review how job information will be arranged before we build it.
The build is available as a preview so you can try the agreed tasks with sample information. Before launch, we check the contact flow, phone layout and any scoped customer access or document handling. You receive the source code, account guide and walkthrough, with ownership transferring after final payment. Support for the first 30 days covers fixes to work as built and small text or photo changes. A new workflow or integration is quoted separately, and an ongoing care plan is optional.
Frequently asked questions
Can the website cover gutters, siding and capping too?
Yes, if those are services your business offers. We agree on the page list and use the service details you provide, without adding unsupported claims about qualifications or availability.
Can customers follow the progress of a roofing job?
A customer portal can include the updates and documents you choose to share. Discovery defines who publishes those updates, who can access them and which information stays internal.
Can we keep estimates and expenses connected to a job?
That workflow can be included in a custom app scope. We discuss your estimate process, job records and expense information, then list the agreed functions in the quote.
Does a custom project include every Roofing product feature?
No. The Flip Ledger Roofing is software we built and run ourselves. It is relevant proof of our work, not a feature list automatically included in your custom project.
